Unbelievable! Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha’s ‘Kushi’ Box Office Smash – Rs 100 Crore Club Looms Large!

Kushi Box Office Collection Update on Day 5: Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s latest offering, “Kushi,” is making remarkable strides at the box office. This romantic drama hit the screens on Friday, September 1, marking a significant release for both Vijay and Samantha. After five days of its release, the film has already amassed an impressive Rs 70 crores worldwide and is poised to soon join the coveted Rs 100 crore club. While the film experienced a robust opening weekend, it did witness a noticeable decline in collections on Monday and Tuesday due to the working days.

According to Sacnilk.com, “Kushi” earned Rs 2 crore in India across all five languages. Consequently, as of Tuesday, the film’s India collection stands at Rs 39.40 crore. The publication also reported that “Kushi” achieved an impressive 19.47% Telugu occupancy on Tuesday.

“Kushi” is an enchanting romantic drama featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film also boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Sachin Khedekar, Rahul Ramakrishna, Murali Sharma, and Vennela Kishore, in pivotal roles.

The storyline of “Kushi” revolves around the characters Viplav, portrayed by Vijay, and Aaradhya, portrayed by Samantha, who fall deeply in love during their vacation in the picturesque setting of Kashmir. However, their love faces vehement opposition from their families, who conspire to keep them apart. In response to these challenges, Vijay and Samantha’s characters resolve to prove their families wrong and embark on a journey to seal their love with marriage. Yet, as differences surface between them, marital troubles begin to strain their relationship.

For both Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha, “Kushi” carries significant weight, especially considering their recent cinematic endeavors. Vijay experienced disappointment at the box office in 2021 with his high-budget film “Liger,” co-starring Ananya Panday, which failed to meet expectations, particularly given its status as his Bollywood debut. On the other hand, Samantha featured in “Shaakuntalam” earlier in the summer, which also struggled to make a mark at the box office. The film’s producers had openly discussed the financial setbacks incurred by the project.
