Deepika and Shah Rukh Khan’s Blockbuster Success Revealed – G20 Summit and Jawan’s Box Office Records Shattered!

Deepika Padukone, who currently appears in an extended role in Shah Rukh Khan’s eagerly awaited film “Jawan,” took to her Instagram story on Tuesday to congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi for hosting the G20 Summit 2023. The summit occurred in Delhi from September 9 to September 10 and featured several prominent attendees.

In her congratulatory message, Deepika wrote, “Congratulations on successfully hosting the groundbreaking G20 Summit! This achievement showcases our nation’s potential to the world and underscores our ability to mobilize global action, strengthen unity, and lead towards a brighter future. One Earth, one family, one future.”

Prior to Deepika, her co-star in “Jawan,” Shah Rukh Khan, also expressed his congratulations to PM Modi via X (formerly known as Twitter). In his message, he wrote, “Congratulations to Hon. PM @narendramodi ji for the success of India’s G20 Presidency and for promoting unity among nations for a better future for the world’s people. This achievement has filled every Indian’s heart with honor and pride. Sir, under your leadership, we will prosper together, not in isolation but in unity. One Earth, One Family, One Future.”

Meanwhile, “Jawan,” featuring both Deepika and Shah Rukh Khan, has achieved record-breaking success at the Indian box office. Directed by Atlee, the film is estimated to have collected Rs. 30 crores on its fourth day of release in India. According to Sacnilk.com, the box office report stated, “On Monday, September 11, 2023, ‘Jawan’ had an overall 32.85% Hindi Occupancy.” The film witnessed its highest occupancy during nighttime shows, reaching approximately 50.22%. “Jawan” has now amassed a net total of Rs. 286 crores in India and is expected to surpass Rs. 300 crores on Tuesday, September 12.

Starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, the film also features outstanding performances by Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Priya Mani Raj, among others.
